Why you’ll like it

Live wallpaper

A frosted-glass clock that lives on your lock and home screens, always in sync and always readable.

Home-screen widget

Pin the glass clock anywhere. It survives reboots and updates quietly in the background.

Private by design

One permission (reboot restore). No internet access, no tracking, no ads — the APK works offline forever.

Install in 4 taps

  1. 1

    Tap “Install APK”

The file downloads in a few seconds (1.1 MB). If Chrome asks, choose Keep / Download anyway.

  2. 2

    Open the downloaded file

Tap the download notification, or find LiquidGlassClock.apk in your Downloads folder.

  3. 3

    Allow installation (first time only)

Android asks you to enable “Allow from this source” for your browser. Toggle it on and go back.

  4. 4

    Tap Install — done

Set it as your live wallpaper from the wallpaper picker, or add the widget from the widget panel.

Why does Android say “file may be harmful”?

That warning is not about this app — Android shows it for every app installed from outside the Play Store, no matter who built it. It’s a generic anti-malware prompt and can’t be switched off from a website (by design). Here’s how to proceed with confidence:

  • Signed & verifiable. The APK is cryptographically signed. Compare its SHA-256 with the hash below to prove the file you received is exactly the one published here.
  • Tiny permission list. It requests a single permission — RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — used only to restart the widget after reboot. No location, no camera, no contacts, no network.
  • Skip the scan if asked. If Play Protect shows “not commonly downloaded”, tap More details → Install anyway.
